Boycott, Geoffrey (1940- )

English cricketer. A prolific right-handed opening batsman for Yorkshire and England, he is one of only six players to have hit over 150 first-class centuries, and has scored the fourth most Test runs for England. In 1981 he overtook Gary Sobers's world record total of Test runs.
