Boyle, Kay (1903–1992)

US writer. Boyle joined the American expatriate community in Europe in 1923, returning to America after World War II as the New Yorker's European Correspondent. A number of Boyle's 50 books drew on her European experience. She won two O Henry Awards for short stories, collections of which include Thirty Stories (1946).
