Brackenridge, Henry Marie (1786-1871)

US lawyer and author. Son of Hugh Henry Brackenridge, Henry was admitted to the bar when he was 20-years old. He served in the Maryland and Florida legislatures, and was briefly a US representative. Henry was also a prolific writer, and he devoted the final decades of his life to writing memoirs, histories, and political and legal texts.
