Brain, Walter Russell (1895–1966)

English neurologist. He was physician to the London Hospital and Maida Vale Hospital for Nervous Diseases, and president of the Royal College of Physicians 1950–57. His writings include Diseases of the Nervous System, Recent Advances in Neurology, and Clinical Neurology, and he was editor of Brain from 1954. He was created baronet in 1954 and baron in 1962.
