Brand, Stewart (1938– )| US founder of the Whole Earth Catalog (1968) and the WELL (1984). He founded, edited, and published the Whole Earth Catalog (1968–85) as well as the CoEvolution Quarterly (now known as the Whole Earth Review) (1973–84). He is the author of The Media Lab (1987), an account of research work carried out at the MIT Media Lab. |
