Breadalbane

Mountainous region of Perth and Kinross and Stirling unitary authorities, Scotland, lying mainly around Loch Tay, and covering over 2,600 sq km/1,000 sq mi. It incorporates Aberfeldy to the northeast, and Crianlarich to the southwest. Several peaks of the Grampian Mountains rise in the region, Ben Lawers being the highest at 1,214 m/3,982 ft. Deer forests and loch fishing are its principal resources.
