Brecksville

City in northeastern Ohio, 16 km/10 mi southeast of Cleveland, of which it is a commuter suburb; population (1990) 11,800. It is the site of the B F Goodrich Research Center, a research facility for rubber, plastics, and textiles.

Settlement of the area began about 1811.
