Brick Township

Township in east-central New Jersey, 19 km/12 mi southwest of Asbury Park, at the northern end of Barnegat Bay; population (1990) 66,500. It is one of the Jersey Shore's residential and resort boom communities, including half a dozen villages.

It was named after a 19th-century ironmaster in neighbouring Lakewood (once Bricksburg).
