Bridgeman, Frederick

Bridgeman, Frederick (Arthur) (1847–1927)

US painter who specialized in archaeological subjects. He lived and produced most of his work in Paris. He studied with Gérôme in Paris 1866–71.

He was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. His works include Funeral of a Mummy, which was produced in around 1877.
