Bridgeman, Frederick (Arthur) (1847-1927)

US painter who specialized in archaeological subjects. He lived and produced most of his work in Paris. He studied with Gérôme in Paris 1866-71.

He was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. His works include Funeral of a Mummy, which was produced in around 1877.
