Brigham, Albert

Brigham, Albert (Perry) (1855–1932)

US geographer. He was well versed in all branches of the field and published extensively. His role as secretary of the Association of American Geographers in its first years is regarded as essential to its success.

He was born in Perry, New York He spent a decade in the ministry and some 40 years associated with Colgate University.
