Brockport

Community in Sweden township, western New York, 27 km/17 mi west of Rochester; population (1990) 8,700. It is a commercial hub for nearby market gardening and dairy farms. Brockport has nurseries, canneries, and other light industry; many residents commute to work in Rochester.
