Brodick

Main village on the Island of Arran in North Ayrshire unitary authority, Scotland, on Brodick Bay in the Firth of Clyde; population (2001) 620. It is the chief tourist and service centre of the island, with a daily ferry link to mainland Ardrossan.

Nearby Brodick Castle and Country Park, former seat of the Dukes of Hamilton, is controlled by the National Trust for Scotland.
