Bromyard

Market town in Herefordshire, England, 17 km/11 mi southeast of Leominster; population (2001) 5,800. The Bromyard Downs is a scenic area of open hillside. Lower Brockhampton House, 3 km/2 mi northeast of Bromyard, is a 14th-century manor with a 15th-century half-timbered gatehouse.
