Bronfman, Yefim (1958- )

Russian-born pianist. He studied at Juilliard and with Rudolf Serkin before making his debut with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra in 1974. He has since appeared with the New York and Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestras, the Chicago and San Francisco Symphony Orchestras, the Berlin Philharmonic and other major European orchestras. His recordings include works by Brahms, Prokofiev, and Mussorgsky.
