Brook, Barry S(helley) (1918– )| US musicologist. He took his PhD in Paris, France, in 1959 and has taught there and in the USA (at the Juilliard School from 1977). He has coordinated international bibliographical projects and is the joint editor of the complete works of Pergolesi (1986– ). He has also issued The Symphony, 1720–1840 and French Opera in the 17th and 18th Centuries. |
