Brown, Curtis Lee, Jr (1956- )

US astronaut. He logged more than 1,383 hours in space on six space shuttle flights, including the Endeavour mission for Japanese Spacelab experiments in September 1992, and the Discovery flight in December 1999 to upgrade the Hubble Space Telescope. He has since left NASA. Brown was selected as an astronaut in 1987.
