Brown, Karen (1963- )

English hockey player who made her international debut in 1982. She won a record 179 caps for England and a further 156 for Great Britain. She played in three Olympic Games and helped Great Britain win a bronze medal at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. After retiring as a player, she coached Chelmsford for five years and in 2005 joined the England camp as performance manager of the Under 21 women's team.
