Brown, Mark Neil (1951- )

US astronaut. His two space shuttle flights were as a mission specialist aboard Columbia (August 1989) and on the Discovery flight that deployed the Upper-Atmosphere Research Satellite (September 1991). Brown became an astronaut in 1985, and left NASA in 1993 to head the Space Division of the General Research Corporation.
