Brown County

County in eastern Wisconsin, bounded to the north by Lake Michigan's Green Bay; area 1,357 sq km/524 sq mi; population (1990) 194,600. Its capital is the city of Green Bay. Dairying and lumbering are the primary economic activities. The county's main manufacturing centres are along the Fox River, principally at Green Bay and De Pere.
