Browning, John

Browning, John (1933– )

US pianist. He became an international soloist, his concerto repertoire stretching from Mozart to Samuel Barber.

He was born in Denver, Colorado, from a musical family. He studied at the Juilliard School, an internationally renowned New York academy for the arts, and won the Leventritt Award in 1955.
