Bruce, (Frank) Neely (1944– )

US composer and pianist. He studied at the University of Illinois and taught at the Wesleyan University from 1974. He founded the American Music/Theater Group 1977 and has also given premieres as a solo pianist. His music has progressed from serialism to American Indian influences.

concerto for percussion and orchestra (1967), violin concerto (1974), Orion Rising for orchestra (1988).
