Bryne, Albert (c. 1621–1671)

English organist and composer. He was organist of St Paul's Cathedral in London from 1638, and again after the Restoration. After the fire of London in 1666 he became organist of Westminster Abbey, a post in which he was succeeded by Blow in 1668. He wrote services, anthems, dance suites for harpsichord, etc.
