Buchner, Johann

    0.01 sec.

Buchner, Johann (Hans von Constantz) (1483–1538)

German composer. He wrote sacred and secular songs, and organ pieces. His Fundamentum is a didactic (self-taught) work incorporating organ music for the liturgical year.

He was probably a pupil of Paul Hofhaimer. He worked at Konstanz Cathedral, but left in 1526, because of its growing Protestantism, and went to Überlingen.
