Bundoran

Town and chief seaside resort of County Donegal, Republic of Ireland; population (2002) 1,700. Bundoran is situated on Donegal Bay, 6 km/4 mi southwest of Ballyshannon.

Bundoran is renowned for its surfing beaches and has been the location for the European Surfing Championships in 1988 and 1987. Features include amusement arcades, a championship golf course, beaches, and cliff scenery.
