Buonamici, Giuseppe (1846–1914)| Italian pianist, conductor, and editor. He studied at home at first, then at the Munich Conservatory, taking piano with Bülow and composition with Rheinberger. He was a professor there from 1870, but returned to Florence in 1873 as piano professor, choral conductor, and founder of a piano trio. He did much to cultivate serious music. |
