Burbank, Daniel Christopher (1961– )

US astronaut. A mission specialist, he flew on the space shuttle Atlantis in September 2000 to prepare the International Space Station for the arrival of the first resident crew. He was scheduled for another flight in 2004 which was postponed following the 2003 Columbia space shuttle disaster. Burbank was selected as an astronaut in 1996.
