Americans can celebrate the President's Day holiday by researching their favorite president using a new online database produced by Burke's Peerage & Gentry, a UK-based genealogical reference publisher, developed in conjunction with systems integrator Thomas Technology Solutions, Inc. After returning to Britain 11 years later, he was offered a job as senior editor on Burke's Peerage & Baronetage--the 106th edition of this reference book on Britain's aristocracy was recently published after an interval of nearly 30 years. Harold Brooks-Baker, publishing director of Burke's Peerage, said the decision to make Edward an earl rather than a duke indicated he would play a minor role in public life. |
