Burkitt's lymphoma

Fast-growing form of cancer most commonly seen in Central African children. It can develop at various sites, including the jaw, the abdomen and the ovaries. The Epstein-Barr virus is implicated in its development and there is also a genetic component. The condition responds well to radiation and cytotoxic drugs, but tends to recur.
