Burkitt's lymphoma| Fast-growing form of cancer most commonly seen in Central African children. It can develop at various sites, including the jaw, the abdomen and the ovaries. The Epstein–Barr virus is implicated in its development and there is also a genetic component. The condition responds well to radiation and cytotoxic drugs, but tends to recur. |
