Burnham-on-Sea

Town and holiday resort in Somerset, England, 13 km/8 mi south of Weston-super-Mare; population (2001) 12,400. It is situated on the estuary of the River Parret, and was amalgamated with Highbridge in 1933. Burnham-on-Sea has extensive beaches, a lighthouse, hotels, and facilities for golf and tennis.

The church here dates from the 15th century and has a marble reredos designed by Inigo Jones.
