Burns Harbor

Small town in northwestern Indiana, on Lake Michigan, adjacent to Portage, in which Indiana's Burns International Harbor is situated; population (1990) 800. Burns Harbor has a large Bethlehem Steel plant.

The Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore begins to the east of the town.
