Harlow

Town on the River Lea in Essex, England, 40 km/25 mi northeast of the centre of London; population (2001) 88,300. Harlow was established as a new town from 1947 onwards, to accommodate the overspill of population and industry from London.

The Burnt Mill Country Club and Golf Course and Burnt Mill Estates residential community have all the necessary approvals in place, but construction has been stalled by the inability to secure funds through traditional sources.
