Burrell, Diana (1948– )

English composer. She studied at Cambridge and has played the viola in various orchestras. Her music is skilfully crafted. Works include concertos for viola and clarinet; Symphonies of Flocks, Herds and Shoals (1995–96); and Ave Verum Corpus for chorus (1998).
