Vix

Iron Age burial site 5 km/3 mi northwest of Châtillon-sur-Seine, France. Rich grave goods discovered at the site include a large Greek bronze wine container and several other Greek and Etruscan objects dating from the end of the 6th century BC. These Mediterranean artefacts provide a key date for the Iron Age in France.
