Cabin John

Town in Montgomery County, central Maryland, USA, 16 km/10 mi northwest of Washington, DC; population (1990) (with Brookmont, to the southeast) 5,300. It is a suburb on the Potomac River, just southwest of Bethesda.

Cabin John Creek Regional Park extends north to Rockville. Cabin John Bridge carries the Capital Beltway over the river.
