Cabot, John M (Moors) (1901-1981)

US diplomat. He specialized in Eastern Europe and Latin America and was assistant secretary of state for Inter-American Affairs 1953-54. He wrote The Racial Conflict in Transylvania (1926) and Towards Our Common American Destiny (1955).

He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He studied at Oxford and entered the diplomatic service in 1927.
