Caesar, Gaius (20 BCAD 4)

Son of Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa and Julia, daughter of the emperor Augustus. Augustus, in his search for a successor, adopted Gaius and his brother, Lucius, when Agrippa died 12 BC and hence they became Gaius and Lucius Caesar. However, Lucius died AD 2, Gaius two years later, and Augustus in AD 4 adopted his stepson Tiberius and made him his successor.
