Camelford

Market town in Cornwall, England; population (2001) 2,300. It is situated on the River Camel, 45 km/28 mi northwest of Plymouth, in an agricultural area. The ruins of a castle associated with King Arthur are situated at Tintagel, 6 km/4 mi to the northwest.
