Campora, Giuseppe (1923– )

Italian tenor. He made his debut at Bari, in 1949, as Rodolfo. In 1951 he joined Serafin at La Scala and sang as a guest all over Europe and North and South America in the lyric repertory; from 1952 he performed at Buenos Aires. He made his New York Metropolitan Opera House debut in 1954, as Rodolfo, and his other roles included Radames, Enzo, Pinkerton, and Gabriele Adorno.
