Candiac

City in Roussillon census division, southern Québec, Canada, on the Bassin de Laprairie (the St Lawrence River), just to the southwest of La Prairie, 13 km/8 mi south-southeast of Montréal; population (1991) 11,100. Industries include glass manufacture. It is also a residential suburb.
