Cannon, Clarence Andrew (1879-1964)

US representative and historian. A professor of history and a lawyer, he served as a Democrat for Missouri in the US House of Representatives 1923-64, and wrote Cannon's Procedure (1928).

He was born in Elsberry, Missouri. He clerked for the US Speaker of the House 1915-20.
