Cantwell, Dennis Patrick (1939- )

US child psychiatrist and educator. His area of expertise included communication and learning disorders, disruptive behaviour and mood disorders, eating disorders, suicide, and pervasive developmental disorders.

He was born in East St Louis, Missouri. He became professor of child psychology at the University of California at Los Angeles School of Medicine in 1980.
