Canute VI

Canute VI (or Cnut VI or Knut VI) (1163–1202)

King of Denmark from 1182, son and successor of Waldemar Knudsson. With his brother and successor, Waldemar II, he resisted Frederick I's northward expansion, and established Denmark as the dominant power in the Baltic.
