Capella

Brightest star in the constellation Auriga and the sixth-brightest star in the night sky. It is a visual and spectroscopic binary that consists of a pair of yellow-giant stars 42 light years from the Sun, orbiting each other every 104 days.

Its Latin name means the ‘the Little Nanny Goat’: its kids are the three adjacent stars Epsilon, Eta, and Zeta Aurigae.
