Cardigan Bay

Wide inlet of St George's Channel, west Wales, stretching from Braich-y-Pwll in the north to Strumble Head in the south. It is bounded to the north by the Lleyn Peninsula and to the south by St David's Peninsula, and borders the counties of Gwynedd, Ceredigion (Cardiganshire), and Pembrokeshire. Dolphins have often been sighted here.
