Carey, Duane Gene (1957- )

US astronaut. He was the pilot of Columbia on its mission on 1-12 March 2002 to service the Hubble Space Telescope. Prior to his assignment to a space mission, he was involved in the technical aspects of spacecraft systems and operations. Carey was selected as an astronaut in 1996.
