Carnegie

Borough in Allegheny County, in the Chartiers Valley of southwestern Pennsylvania, USA, 11 km/7 mi southwest of Pittsburgh; population (1990) 9,300. Named after steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, it is a centre of steel manufacture.
