Carnegie Hall

Largest concert hall in New York City, opened in 1891 and named after the millionaire philanthropist Andrew Carnegie. It has a distinctive rich acoustic.

The hall comprises three separate theatres. The main stage, the Isaac Stern Auditorium, seats 2,804; the Sanford I Weill Recital Hall seats 268, and the Arthur Zankel Hall (opened in 2003) seats 644.
