Carradine, John Richmond Reed (1906–1988)

US character actor. He often played villains and appeared in many major Hollywood films, especially in John Ford productions such as Stagecoach (1939) and The Grapes of Wrath (1940). He was later often seen in horror B movies, including House of Frankenstein (1944).

His sons David (1936– ), Keith (1949– ), and Robert (1954– ) are also actors.
