Ricordi (lived 18th–20th centuries)| Family of Italian music publishers. Giovanni Ricordi (1785–1853) founded the publishing house at Milan in c. 1808. |
| His son, Tito Ricordi (1811–1888) succeeded his father on the latter's death in 1853, and was responsible for the publication of many of Giuseppe Verdi's operas. |
| On his death his son, Giulio Ricordi (1840–1912) became head of the firm. He was also a composer under his own name and that of J Burgmein. |
